From "The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography," the "William and Mary College Quarterly" and "Tyler's Quarterly" Virginia Will Records is composed of articles dealing with V irginia wills, inventories, and administration accounts and contains virtually everything pertaining to estate records ever published in the leading Virginia periodicals. Also incorporated in the collection are a number of articles containing abstracts of various companion records-court minutes and deeds, for example-as well as a smaller group of articles dealing with the probate of certain wills in England. Their appearance here-along with an index of 27,000 entries-will spare the genealogist the trouble of searching through hundreds of out-of-the-way volumes and save an untold amount of time in research. The following are the Virginia counties pertaining to which one or more articles may be found in the collection: Accomac, Albemarle, Amherst, Botetourt, Brunswick, Caroline, Charles City, Dinwiddie, Elizabeth City, Fluvanna, Frederick, Fredericksburg, Goochland, Hampshire (WV), Hanover, Hardy (WV), Isle of Wight, King William, Lancaster, Louisa, Middlesex, Northampton, Petersburg, Pittsylvania, Prince George, Princess Anne, Old Rappahannock, Richmond, Russell, Stafford, Surry, Sussex, Westmoreland, and York.
