Description The hand-made quality of Yamaha's symphony model horns is apparent at every level of detail. Hand-lapped rotary valves and slides provide air-tight, smooth, flawless ac tion. Articulated rotor levers and hollow phosphor bronze rotors promise responsive, light action. The hand hammered one-piece annealed bell responds consistently in all ranges. Features: Solid rotor: Rotors are all made of solid material, which is one of the important design factors to improve rigidity. Dual plane valve: The dual plane valve allows the airstream to travel in the same direction when switching between the F and Bb sides of the horn by linking the inlet and outlet of a rotor with the dual plane valve. New shape of main and F tuning slides: The main and F tuning slides are designed to be rounded, which helps the horn hold the sound together and produce a full, rich resonance. C-shaped brace: C-shaped brace is used for the F/Bb 3rd valve slide. This results in a powerful sound with comfortable resistance and sonorous tone. Bell kranz: This model is finished with a kranz on bell rim, modeled after German brass instruments.
