The XXIO 14 Ladies Driver is engineered with several key features to assist golfers in achieving consistent ball speed and accuracy. The club face uses a thin design, which incorporates a new "VR-Titan" material, allowing for an increased amount of face deflection upon impact . This construction is intended to expand the zone where the ball leaves the club face at a high initial speed. Internal data suggests a significantly larger high-speed area in the center (up to 202% greater than the previous model) and in the perimeter (up to 146% greater), indicating better performance on off-center hits. The design manages the transfer of energy by reinforcing the rigidity around the face edges while the rest of the body is thinned near the rear edge to maximize the flexing effect. For improved consistency, the driver includes an aerodynamic feature known as "ACTIVWING." This technology manages airflow over both the crown and sole of the club head by incorporating subtle steps or raised sections . The enhancement in aerodynamics contributes to a notable reduction in the dispersion of impact points—a reported 27% reduction compared to the previous model—which helps players find the center of the face more often. The club’s silhouette is designed to be inviting and confidence-inspiring . It features a rounded shape that prevents the head from looking overly large, even at a standard ladies' club length. To promote solid contact and help the player hit the ball squarely, the club utilizes a shorter center of gravity placement and is paired with a specially designed shaft.
