The product, 104913755 (SD-B4.140.030-01.000), is a creation by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, forming an integral part of the wider Bosch Inverter System. This system includes a servo module and a supply module, where the SM..-T servo modules improve the efficiency of the brushless servo motor. In essence, the SM 17/35-T servo module controls the speed and torque of the motor. To configure the performance of the 104913755 (SD-B4.140.030-01.000), it uses essential regulation functions such as speed regulation, which utilizes two command signals and an actual speed signal to maintain the motor speed. The current regulator function controls the current flow to the motor windings, enabling instant torque generation. This regulator compares the speed regulator output with the current actual value before emitting the ideal current signal. The SM17/35-T provides monitoring functions that can be displayed and recorded on a diagnostic card. These include a module fault (Mf), Tacho fault (Tf), and commutation monitoring (CM). For thermal protection, the system will show excessive motor temperature if the 104913755 (SD-B4.140.030-01.000) temperature exceeds 140 degrees Celsius. This module design allows the motor to meet set parameters without undue system failure. The 104913755 (SD-B4.140.030-01.000) may encounter an E.Stop during its operation, and to combat this, the module includes an option for short circuit braking. This prevents slowing of the motor feed axes by short-circuiting the motor windings. In this circumstance, the torque and current of the 104913755 (SD-B4.140.030-01.000) are 3 to 4 times higher. The motor employs a resistor with 3.3 Ohms resistance and a minimum energy of 293Ws. It’s crucial to ensure a 1.5mm2 cable connects the motor and the servo module.
