Solo Main Halyard for current Selden D+, and Zeta Solo Masts. Rooster Offer 2 types of Solo Halyards, the Rack version or the Lock version. The 'Rack' version is the most common Solo halyard used and see below, where the halyard is held by a toothed rack to hold the halyard tight. The 'Lock' version of the halyard is a special fitting built into the Solo mast approx 400mm from the top of the mast to lock the halyard tight. This halyard has an additional ferrule crimped to the wire to work with the lock fitting. Please select this type of Halyard you would like from the drop down list box. Both are made from 2.5mm 7 x 19 marine grade stainless steel wire. (Halyard is 6135mm long - bearing surface to bearing surface - including a 250mm wire loop on the end to hook onto the rack - see the photo below). The standard / current Selden exit sheave box is approx 120mm from the heel of the mast step Comes with a captive shackle at one and large soft loop at the other for connecting to your hook rack at the bottom of the mast. Including 4mm rope tail. Please check this standard Rooster Solo Halyard product is suitable and if required, measure your existing halyard length, as the bottom sheave exit point can vary (or the rack height) on some older Selden Solo masts.
