Scalecoat Universal Leveling Thinner is a precision solvent blend developed to improve flow, leveling, and spray consistency when airbrushing or spraying compatible solvent-based hobby paints. It is designed to help reduce surface texture, minimize orange peel, and support smooth, even paint application across a wide range of spray conditions. This thinner has been tested with multiple solvent-based hobby paint systems and is intended to be mixed directly with paint in small amounts to adjust viscosity and spray behavior. Mix thoroughly and fine-tune as needed based on paint formulation, spray pressure, and application method. Always test on a sample surface prior to full application. Scalecoat Universal Leveling Thinner is not intended to be used with Scalecoat paints. Scalecoat paints should only be thinned with their dedicated thinner.
