This walnut and burl veneer nightstand has a serpentine shaped top with burl crossbanding over the serpentine case of three drawers, one over the other, with applied moldings aroun d the edge of the drawer fronts fitted with dark brass finish knobs, all between the chamfered corners with applied carvings at the top and the bottom, the case on a graduated molded base of three moldings, with the top molding being carved in the egg and dart motif; the base resting on carved scrolled feet at the corners.
