Golden 108 Buddha Thangka | Large Collector's Piece The 108 Buddha thangka is a divine masterpiece, meticulously painted with layers of pure 24K gold and acrylic hues to bring to life the central figure of Buddha Shakyamuni and his surrounding Buddhas. The thangka begins with a layer of 24K gold applied to the canvas, creating a radiant and sacred foundation. The gold serves as the primary background, symbolizing enlightenment's purity and wisdom's transcendent nature. This golden layer enhances the spiritual energy of the piece, offering a vibrant glow that emanates from the canvas, giving the artwork a divine presence. Once the gold layer is set, acrylic hues are used to detail and depict the Buddha figures and surrounding elements carefully. The Buddha Shakyamuni is portrayed at the center in a peaceful meditative pose, with his serene expression representing wisdom and compassion. The surrounding 108 Buddha figures are skillfully painted with acrylics, each Buddha representing an aspect of enlightenment and the infinite wisdom of the Buddha. The 108 Buddhas represent the completeness of Buddha's teachings, as 108 is considered a sacred number in Buddhism, associated with spiritual practices such as prayer beads (mala). Each Buddha in this artwork embodies a different aspect of Buddha's enlightened nature, helping practitioners connect with various teachings for their spiritual progress. The 108 Buddhas around Buddha Shakyamuni reinforce the idea that enlightenment is a personal and universal journey. -------------------------------------------------------------------Size: 28.5"/ 72 cm (width) x 39"/ 99 cm (height)Materials: Cotton Canvas, Acrylic Colors, Genuine 24K Gold------------------------------------------------------------------THIS THANGKA IS HAND-PAINTED IN THE TRADITIONAL STYLE BY A NEPALI ARTIST, AND THE QUALITY IS HIGH------------------------------------------------------------------- BROCADE MOUNTWe offer traditional brocade mounts upon your request.
