Granular Shock Chlorine An easy method for shock dosing swimming pool and spa water. An effective way to deal with water problems and restore clear, sparkling water.To ensure safe use of your pool, maintain free chlorine levels between 1-3ppm, and a pH of 7.2 to 7.6.Instructions for Use Test to check the chemical balance. To increase the chlorine level by 1ppm (or 1 mg/l), add 2 grams per 1000 litres (220 gallons). To increase the chlorine level by 1ppm (or 1 mg/l), add 18 grams per 10,000 litres (2,200 gallons). To dose to the pool, fill a clean container (bucket) with water, add the required dose of granules, mix well and then add to the pool water with the filtration system running.
