Deceptive Bends is the fifth studio album by 10cc, released April 29, 1977 on Mercury Records. It was the first album recorded as a duo by Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman following the departure of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme, with drummer Paul Burgess joining as a supporting player. Recorded at Strawberry Studios South and produced by Stewart and Gouldman, the album marked a more direct, streamlined sound for the band. The album includes the singles "The Things We Do for Love," "Good Morning Judge," and "People in Love," alongside the eleven-and-a-half-minute closing suite "Feel the Benefit," arranged and conducted by Del Newman. The instantly recognizable Hipgnosis cover artwork, featuring a diver carrying a woman along a jetty, remains one of the band's most celebrated sleeves. This listing includes both the original gatefold vinyl LP and the remastered CD reissue, which adds three bonus tracks from the same era. Tracklist A1. Good Morning Judge 2:54 A2.
