10w Flexible Solar Panel KitPV Logic Flexi solar panels are the ultimate choice for flat or slightly curved surfaces. The 10w Flexible Solar Panel is great for small power consumption projects as diverse as powering electric fences to keeping the lights on in a trailer tent. The panel delivers a continuous trickle feed maintaining and extending the life of any 12-volt battery and delivers up to 65wh per day. Benefitting from a two year product warranty, it is fitted with a blocking diode to prevent reverse current drain, the 10w flexible solar panel is supplied with a 4m cable, connectors, fuse and detailed installation instructions. NOTE – The 10w flexible solar panel kit does not require a charge controller if the battery to be used is larger than 75Ah.Benefit from the semi-flexible panel's self-healing top surfaceThe ETFE top layer gives the PV Logic flexi extra resilience in really tough conditions. ETFE has a memory effect or self-healing capacity in the event the panel comes into contact with branches etc, thus ensuring any slight abrasions are ‘healed’ within a few hours. The flexi range can even be walked on with soft deck shoes! During production the ETFE is dimpled to further protect the panel and provide an anti-slip surface, particularly useful if the panel is fitted to a boat deck.Completely waterproofEach panel is assembled to ensure complete encapsulation. This ensures the six layer heavy duty laminate protects the solar cell circuit from extreme conditions. The junction box is also injected with special silicon, guaranteeing no water ingress.Cells protected from hot spotsWhere used on a camper van or boat, partial shading of a solar panel is typical. In these circumstances, heat build-up and damaging hot spots can occur leading to a significantly reduced life cycle of the panel. The larger 60w and above PV Logic flexi panels have up to two shading diodes housed within the fully waterproof junction box to prevent this occurrence.Superior designThere are no square edges on a PV Logic flexi solar panel! Rounded panel corners and a unique curved junction box provide superior adhesion, no snag lamination and no sharp edges. The junction box is mechanically fixed in addition to being bonded to the panel. Strain relief is provided for the fitted 4m UV stabilised PV cable ensuring it cannot be accidentally pulled from the junction box.Easy fixThe flexi range can be bonded to flat or slight curved surfaces (3cm curve per metre) such as painted aluminium, metal, GRP and fibreglass using Simson ISR 70-03. Both are capable of charging 12V and 24V single or dual batteries. The MPPT Pro charge controller increases solar yield by up to 20% over a standard charge controller by artificially modifying the voltage from s solar panel system to actively match any battery's requirements. This means that whatever the weather conditions your panels will deliver maximum power with minimum electrical loss. The MPPT charge controller comes with its very own free-to-download Bluetooth app (Apple and Android) to display how the solar system is performing. The app software links your smartphone to the MPPT Pro and shows performance figures for a single or dual battery/batteries - very useful in a motorhome where the system can intelligently charge the leisure and starter batteries. An optional activity monitor is also available to provide all performance data on a LCD display.10w Flexible Solar Panel Kit Features High efficiency crystalline cell for “all weather” chargingWater resistant, robust construction for outdoor use.In built diode protects against battery dischargeSalt spray testedTough and robustUV light tested2 year product warranty10w Flexible Solar Panel Kit Technical Specifications Size: 380 x 250 x 4mm Weight: 0.56Kg Watts Per Day: 60W Amp Hours Per Day (A): 3.42A Charge Controller: N/A Pmax (WP): 10 Nominal Voltage - Vmp (VDC): 17.6 Nominal Current - IMP (A): 0.57 Voc (V): 21.9 Short Circuit Current - Isc(A): 0.61 ** Watts and Amp hours/day based on six hours of average daily peak sunlight hours.10w Flexible Solar Panel Kit SpecificationsContents (panels kits)1 x 10w semi-flexible solar panel1 x 4m cable (attached)1 x fuse & holder4 x ring terminals1 x instruction sheetWarrantyTwo year product warrantyPlease noteAll of our semi flexible panels will only bend from the top (has the cable and logos) to the bottom a maximum of 10% of panel length.Bending the panel greater than this, or trying to bend the panel from left to right will possibly damage the panel and also invalidate your warranty.
