PEND.” engraving below the logo—this guitar is believed to have been manufactured in the USA around 1997–1998. The Wolfgang Special is a model that features a flat-top body based on the archtop Wolfgang design. The Wolfgang Special is a model based on the archtop Wolfgang design but features a flat-top body. It features a four-point bolt-on construction combining a basswood body with a maple neck. It is equipped with two Peavey original humbuckers, known for their high power and clear sound. Furthermore, it is equipped with a Peavey original Floyd Rose Licensed locking tremolo—a standard feature across the USA-made Wolfgang series—which ensures excellent tuning stability and smooth tremolo action.
