The KG-Exploder II is a refined version of the Killer Exploder shape designed by Akira Takasaki. Featuring a vibrant Delicious Red finish, this guitar boasts an all-maple construct ion, combining a 45mm-thick maple body with a hard maple neck and hard maple fingerboard. It is characterized by a fast attack and a well-defined sound, delivering a presence that stands out even when played with distortion. It is equipped with Killer’s original LQ-500 and LZ-510 Dyna-Bite pickups. Not only do these pair perfectly with high-gain sounds, but they also feature a coil-tap function activated by the push/pull volume knob, making them versatile enough to handle everything from clean tones to light crunch. The bridge features a Floyd Rose Thousand, providing a professional-grade setup capable of handling even the most intense whammy bar playing. Killer’s proprietary semi-deep insert joint provides high rigidity and excellent playability, making this a ready-to-use instrument ideal for hard rock and metal. There is a scratch near the back panel. There are also some minor scuffs and scratches, but no other particularly noticeable damage besides what’s mentioned above.
