A rare Midtown Signature Bass produced exclusively in 2014. This distinctive USA-made bass combines the rich resonance unique to a semi-hollow body with the tight bass tones of a 3 4-inch long scale. Featuring a semi-hollow body with a chambered mahogany back and a maple top, it delivers a lively response and a sound with a natural airiness. The neck is made of mahogany, the fingerboard of rosewood, and it is equipped with a T-Bird Plus humbucker at the neck and a T-Bird Mini humbucker at the bridge.It offers a wide range of tonal possibilities, from thick, powerful bass to well-defined sounds, making it ideal not only for rock and pop but also for a variety of other genres. One of its highlights is the 12th-fret “120th Anniversary” inlay, unique to the 2014 model. Weather checking is present throughout the body. There is a small area of paint loss at the end of the headstock. There are cracks above and below the truss rod cover. The paint is starting to peel near the corner of the front pickup. Other than that, there are some minor scratches and dents, but no major damage is visible. There is a faint odor, likely resulting from previous repairs. The neck is reverse-bowed near the low frets and forward-bowed around the middle, creating a wavy appearance. There are currently no issues with playability. The truss rod slot is narrow, and the included wrench barely fits.
