Producer In 1942, Andre Delorme returned home from the Second World War after getting injured. With the plan to become a vigneron, he quickly made a name for himself, producing outstanding sparkling wine that was listed in the best restaurants in France. Andre Delorme has been instrumental in the growth of Cremant de Bourgogne production, gaining appellation d'origine controle in 1975 through the efforts of Delorme and other producers. Cremant offers a great alternative to consumers who want Champagne's elegance, flavour and essence without the price tag! Made using the same method and the fruit from the same general area of France, it is a fantastic alternative. Tasting Note Citrus, brioche, and baked apple aromas appear as the bubbles dissipate. The wine is bright and refreshing on the palate with a crisp and dry finish. It is made using Chardonnay and Aligote fruit using the Champonoise method.
