Relieve belt tension: Remove the deck belt or release tension at the idler system so the linkage isn’t spring-loaded while you remove hardware. Lbs., Jack Unit Up, Remove Jack Stand, Lower the Jack and the Unit. Operate the Deck Linkage: Sit on the Unit, Raise and Lower the Mower Deck Confirming the is No Binding with Mower Deck Linkage. Reinstall belt & test: Install the belt, confirm it’s seated in every pulley groove, make sure any Safety Shield that Where Removed are Re-installed, then run the deck briefly at low throttle and re-check tracking and tension.
