On offer is an original manuscript diary dated March 27th 1873 - May 1st 1874 handwritten by an unidentified St. Albans Vermont man [born June 8th]. We estimate he is in his mid to late fifties and somewhat successful. While not naming himself he does a super job of naming all his contacts and friends on all his visits and business dealings. Our writer also details the hard life of rural life whether it be work, illness or births and deaths of which there are many.
