Cox is thought to have had a brief life, dying of a fever while still a student at Oxford University. This is apparently the only poetry he published, written when the Duke of Wellington became Chancellor. The verses appear to satirize old school Oxfordians who saw in every slight change the demise of the university itself. Show more
