The earliest arrival from this village appears to be Johann Nicolaus Crussman who arrived in 1718, and the last group appears on a ship in 1754. Several of these immigrants were fo unding members of the Lutheran congregations at Trappe, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and at St. Paul's (Blue) Church in Saucon, Northampton County, Pennsylvania (today Upper Saucon, Lehigh County).
