Rust Tufted-Grid L-Shaped Sectional with Low Plinth Base | 118 Inch | Large Upholstered Sectional SofaThe entire back and arm surface is a uniform grid of raised tufted squares -- not button tufting, but a continuous grid of fabric-divided panels covering every upholstered face from corner arm to corner arm. The form sits at 26.5 inches, considerably lower than standard sofa height, and rests on a flat plinth base with no visible legs beneath it. The arms are low, rounded, and flush with the back height, the silhouette an uninterrupted horizontal band from one end of the 118-inch run to the other. Rust -- a warm terracotta-brick -- covers the 90% polyester, 10% linen blend throughout, the woven textile catching the tufted grid in warm shadow between each raised panel. At 118 by 118 by 26.5 inches this is a room-scale furniture decision that requires accepting the piece as the dominant floor element. The low profile prevents it from reading as heavy despite the mass; at 26.5 inches the eye travels over the back surface rather than stopping at it. The tufted grid in direct sun creates a field of small shadows across the warm rust ground. At 283.9 lbs it requires two or more people and a permanent position.
