We have received a shipment of Orville Les Paul Standards. We have received a Les Paul Standard from "Orville," a Gibson-authorized domestic brand that was distributed in Japan fro m the late 1980s to the late 1990s. Based on the serial number, this guitar is believed to have been manufactured in 1990; however, there is very little information available regarding the material and font of the serial number decal found on this particular instrument, so the exact year of manufacture, factory, and country of origin remain unknown. Like the original Gibson, it features a maple top/mahogany back body and a set-neck joint with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The pickups have been upgraded: the front pickup has been replaced with a SEYMOUR DUNCAN APH-1n, and the rear pickup with a SEYMOUR DUNCAN SH4 (JB). There are numerous scratches and dents of varying sizes scattered across the body, and the hardware shows signs of tarnish. While it shows signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent. Condition: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 9081842 Year of Manufacture: 1990 Case: Soft case Weight: 3.68 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees left and right with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String height (low string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.2 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.5 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 22.4 mm Scale: 628mm (24.75") Radius: 305mm (12") Strings at setup: D'Addario EXL110 / .010-.046 set Repairs and Maintenance: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, electronics repair, and dressing * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not visible in the photos or not listed here.
