MTD's value-for-money model! MTD (Michael Tobias Design), a high-end American bass brand. This is the Kingston Z from the Kingston series, manufactured in China and subjected to qu ality control and setup by craftsmen in the U.S. This 5-string fretless model features an alder body with a maple burl top, a maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The rounded, lightweight body fits comfortably against the body. The neck features a slightly thinner, asymmetrical shape on the G-string side. It is equipped with original split-coil pickups. It also features an active preamp with a 3-band EQ. It produces a sound with punch and clarity. There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish. While it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
