A 2000 Les Paul Classic has arrived. Its appeal lies in the high playability provided by the slim, ’60s-style neck shape. Made from solid mahogany without weight relief, it’s on th e heavier side, but this lends it tight bass and crystal-clear treble. It is equipped with uncovered 496R/500T pickups featuring ceramic magnets, which deliver excellent definition and are ideal for high-output drive tones. The tailpiece and tailpiece studs have been replaced. There are overall scratches and dents, paint peeling around the headstock, a chip in the wood on the back of the headstock, a crack in the jack plate, and some tarnish on the metal parts. More than 70% of the frets remain, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
