Wood Custom Guitars / The Vibe Standard-4 is now in stock! Wood Custom Guitars is a handmade guitar manufacturer based in Shiga Prefecture. Renowned for its choice of woods and pre cision craftsmanship, the brand is a favorite among many Japanese musicians. This is their signature model, characterized by its slightly smaller body. It features a classic wood combination of an alder body and a maple neck. It is equipped with Kariya-Pickups, which supply pickups to many Japanese brands. With a modern-leaning sound characterized by clear, punchy bass, it is sure to make a strong presence in contemporary band ensembles. Regarding the controls, while the spec sheet lists 2 Volume and 1 Tone knobs, it appears the guitar has been modified to a 2-knob configuration with 1 Volume and 1 Tone. One of the screw holes in the control panel is cracked on the inside, but this does not currently cause any major issues. There are scattered minor scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some signs of tarnish. Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
