This multipurpose wooden spoon measures 12 inches from top to bottom and was handcrafted by artisans in Guatemala. Each spoon is unique due to the uniqueness of the piece of wood u sed to make the piece. This spoon was made from a recycled piece of exotic hardwood. No trees were harmed in the making of this spoon. Each spoon is made entirely by hand with no power tools. This fair trade item was handcrafted by the group, The Spoonmakers of Peten. They started in 2002 with 4 families and have now expanded to a cooperative of 11 families. Many of the members of the group are health promoters in their communities and a percentage of their sales is donated to health programs. Show more
