DUNLOP, a trusted leader in wah-wah pedals, has completed another product boasting unparalleled sound quality and durability: the EVH-95 Eddie Van Halen Signature Wah Wah. This wah pedal, developed in close collaboration with legendary hard rock guitarist Edward Van Halen, boasts a unique design and circuitry that was thoroughly tested and refined. The DUNLOP development team was able to borrow Eddie's custom wah pedal, the "Holy Grail," which boasts a vocal-inspired design, high-Q inductors, and a wide swing range, from the early 1990s. The pedal's unique characteristics were further enhanced by the EVH-95 Eddie Van Halen Signature Wah Wah. His heavy use of the pedal revealed a unique wear on the wah pot's specific frequency range, which gave it a stronger definition in the midrange and also improved the low-end sweep. The Dunlop development team was able to recreate this unique wear on the wah pot, creating the same feel and tone as his "Holy Grail." This true hardwired bypass wah pedal is a must-have for anyone looking to get the looks and sound of Eddie. (Note: The Funkadelic-style approach is the type of curve I'm least good at.) Input jack: Input the signal from the instrument's output. Output jack: Connect the processed signal to an amplifier or other output device. DC input jack: Power is supplied from a 9V AC adapter (sold separately) (center negative polarity). Toggle footswitch: Switches effect on/bypass. LED indicator: Displays effect on/off (lights up when effect is on). The on/off switch is set up to be very easy to operate, as per the artist's preference. For this reason, the two rubber feet on top of the switch are thinner than usual.
