Producer The first Malbec vine was brought over from France in 1890 and traded with the founders of Finca La Celia for their best horse. The founders were originally horse breeders, but with the acquisition of the Malbec vine, they became vignerons in the Uco Valley. Malbec is now Argentina's flagship variety and is planted widely across the country. La Celia continues to honour the traditions set by their ancestors, and their passion for the land and vine only flourishes. Tasting Note Ripe blackberry and blueberry with some subtle sweet spice aromas are met with berry compote, plum, sweet tobacco and cocoa on the palate. Fine-grained tannins and a long-lasting finish. This wine is a fully flavoured, balanced and classic example of Argentinian Malbec.
