The switch features a round, 7.5mm diameter button that can be pressed to activate or deactivate an electrical circuit where latching function is required. It has a sleek and durable aluminium body that is resistant to corrosion and wear. The switch is designed to be mounted through a 12mm hole (panel mount), and it can be secured using a locking nut that is included. The LED illumination, available in both Blue and Red, offers great visibility and a stylish look. The LED power supply is separate to the switching connections of the switch, allowing for multiple LED illumination options. The LED can either be powered at all times, connected to dash/nights lights or wired into the switch output (+) to allow for LED illumination only when the switch is On. The unit operates as an On-Off Normally Open/NO design latching type switch, which means that it has two states: On when the button is pressed to supply power and complete the circuit, and Off when the button is pressed again to disconnect the circuit. It is rated for a maximum voltage and current of 12V DC/3A. LED positive power is supplied separate via Red Wire, with the LED ground/earth via the Black Wire. LED will illuminate at all times power is supplied to Red Wire.
