Bulbs used in Lightforce lights have been carefully selected to ensure maximum performance and durability. This is done by measuring and qualifying the efficiency in converting watts into *candlepower. For the technically minded: The bulb filament size and shape combined with the reflector design determine the concentration of a focused beam. The shape of the filament will determine the type of Beam, e.g. a vertical filament (VF) bulb will give a circular spot beam, whilst the horizontal filament (HF) will give a slightly oval spot. Special requirements? No problem! Lightforce have bulbs available including 12V 20W, 30W, 50W, 75W and 100W plus 24V 50W and 24V 100W for specialist applications. If using the light combined with a portable battery pack unit a lower wattage bulb will increase the time in the field.
