Does what it says - boosts 2.5-6V from a Li-ion Cell or USB Power Bank to a fixed 12V supply, for up to 36W of compact built-in power GEMboost is designed to allow 12V LEDs or LED ribbon to be powered from a convenient USB Power Bank or Li-ion cell for those occasions when a mains PSU or 12V battery isn’t available. The unit will operate all the way down to 2.5V, so a single Li-Ion cell is sufficient in compact applications such as building into props. It comes encased in a rugged aluminium enclosure to withstand the daily rigours on set. The circuit has protection against excessive input voltage, output current, and temperature.
