Dual Voice Octave Pedal The M288 Bass Octave Deluxe is a new dual-voice octave pedal from MXR Bass Innovations, featuring true bypass operation for a more natural analog tone and a wide range of sounds. Powered by a single 9V battery, it's boosted to 18V (thanks to MXR's Constant Headroom Technology), delivering studio-level headroom and excellent tracking. The DRY knob allows you to mix the direct signal with the octave sound, while the MID+ switch provides a +14dB boost to the LOW-MID (400Hz) or MID range (850Hz) (adjustable internally). Two octave (tone) controls adjust the octave voices: GROWL, a tone one octave below the MIDRANGE, for a husky sound; GIRTH, a deeper, smoother tone one octave below. What is BASS INNOVATION?
