Forrest Hibbits This 1930-60s tempera paint on paper of a man on the floor with the caption Cherniakhovsky is Coming! is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits g raduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He exhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor.
