Forrest Hibbits This late 1940s gouache and ink abstract is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He e xhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor. Hibbits worked as a commercial artist at Patterson & Sullivan, a San Francisco ad agency in the 1920s-1930s. Circa Late 1940s Gouache and Ink on Paper 19"x23" framed, 11"x14" unframed Signed lower right.
