Jennings Tofel This 1920s ink on paper surreal figure scene is by Polish-born New York Expressionist Jennings Tofel (1891-1959). Tofel was a friend of Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred St ieglitz. He received an art grant to work in Paris in the 1920s. His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Tofel is known for his allegorical, Expressionist figurative scenes. 1920s Ink on Paper 14.25"x16.25" framed, 8.5"x10.5" unframed Signed lower right. Excellent vintage condition.
