Jennings Tofel This 1959 Expressionist oil scene entitled Mother and Son is by Polish-born New York Expressionist Jennings Tofel (1891-1959). Tofel was a friend of Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz. He received an art grant to work in Paris in the 1920s. His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Tofel is known for his allegorical, Expressionist figurative scenes. 1959 Oil on Canvas 24"x20" unframed Good vintage condition. Show more
