The 1394T101 series Turn Coordinator is a panel-mounted instrument designed to display the combined rate of turn and rate of roll information as a rotating aircraft symbol, which a ids in performing a standard-rate turn of 360 degrees in two minutes and aircraft control in partial panel instrument conditions. The instrument also includes an inclinometer which indicates slip or skid when not in a coordinated turn. The 1394T101 series does not contain any moving parts other than the displayed indication, and therefore does not make any audible sounds while powered on.
