Converts 13W3 male cable end into a VGA (HD15) male cable end and combines separate sync signals into composite sync. Simply plug the adapter onto the end of the existing 13W3 moni tor cable. Notes: P/N 1396 is for use with Sun monitor #'s 365- 1167, 1286, 1313, 1316, 1317, 1319, 1321, 1322, 1324, 1325, 1326, 1327 or 1330 ONLY. These monitors ALL have a built-in 13W3 cable. The scan circuits in these monitors support windows hi-res drivers only. These monitors DO NOT WORK IN DOS MODE due to scan limitations. They will NOT display boot text, error messages, blue screen of death or any resolution lower than 1024 x 768 at 75 HZ refresh rate! If you have an older monitor, such as GDM- 1962B, 1662B, 1955B, etc. then NO ADAPTER will make it work with a PC! Only a special video card for fixed frequency monitors will work in those instances.
