This harness is for those with 2014-2018 Non LTZ Impala's that are looking into, or have already, added HID headlight bulbs. This harness will automatically disable your headlights during the day, while in auto mode, and automatically allow them to come at night, in auto mode. Running HID headlights during the day can cause a few problems, one of those being that the headlights may flicker. This is due to the fact that the voltage to the headlight bulb is lower during drl mode than it is in headlamp mode. We offer this harness in a couple of different variations. No DRL function- This harness will simply disable your headlights during the day, so your Impala will no longer have DRL's. LTZ DRL function with dimming LED- As you may know the Impala LTZ model comes with HID headlights from the factory and utilizes a LED foglamp, in the lower bumper, for DRL's. This harness not only disables your headlights during the day but powers your, supplied, LTZ LED's bright during the day and dim at night just like a true LTZ model. LTZ lamps are not included. LTZ DRL function with non dimming LED- This harness is the same as above except that it keeps the LTZ LED's bright at night, instead of dimming them down. LTZ lamps are not included.. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINKS PART 1- PART 2- PART 3- The above instructions are for installing our basic Impala LTZ LED harness, the only other steps that need to be followed are as follows 1- Connect at both headlight connectors, not just the driver's side 2-Connect the ring terminal wire to battery positive. Also on some models the # 17 fuse may not be present , if it is not please use #46 instead.
