Jennings Tofel Entitled Flight, this 1950 oil on canvas Expressionist figure scene is by Polish-born New York Expressionist Jennings Tofel (1891-1959). Tofel was a friend of Georgi a O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz. He received an art grant to work in Paris in the 1920s. His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
