Editor was the Anglo -Irish newspaper owner, editor and scholar Frank Brinkley (1841-1912) who resided in Meiji-period Japan for over 40 years and became the author of numerous books on Japanese culture, art and architecture. Okakura (1863 – 1913) was a Japanese scholar who contributed to the development of arts in Japan. Outside Japan, he is chiefly remembered today as the author of The Book of Tea. Show more
