HieffTM anti-Taq DNA Polymerase Antibody is a Taq DNA Polymerase monoclonal antibody for hot start PCR. It can inhibit the activity of DNA polymerase after binding to Taq DNA Polymerase, which can effectively inhibit the nonspecific annealing of primers and the nonspecific amplification caused by primer dimer at low temperature. HieffTM anti-Taq DNA Polymerase Antibody is denatured in the initial DNA denaturation step of PCR reaction, and the activity of DNA polymerase is restored to achieve the effect of hot start PCR. It can be used under the condition of routine PCR reaction without special inactivation of antibody. The storage buffer of this product is glycerol-free and can be mixed with glycerol-free Taq DNA polymerase to prepare glycerol-free hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. Features Exceptional detection sensitivity—The hot-start formulation ensures effective detection of low-abundance genes, offering higher sensitivity. Rapid enzyme activity release—Over 95% of enzyme activity can be released by heating at 95°C for 20 seconds. No Nuclease Contamination: Free from contamination of exonucleases, endonucleases, and RNases. Applications The concentration of this product is 5 mg/mL. 1 μL antibody could block the activity of 20-50 U Taq DNA polymerase. It is recommended to mix the antibody and the Taq DNA polymerase well and incubate at room temperature for 20 min prior to use. The blocking efficiency is more than 90%.
