Kitowa incense is carefully hand crafted by the craftsman with technology that has been handed down for about over 400 years. The incense stick is made from a mixture of Hinoki(Japanese cypress), Hiba(White-ceder), and Kusunoki(Camphor tree) wood, in a natural way and without using dye. This well-balanced scent is made with natural woody oils and carefully selected incense materials. Blended with hinoki oil produced in Mie Prefecture. By blending the scent of geranium and iris to the sophisticated fragrance of hinoki, ornateness is expressed. Adding sandalwood to the base as an accent draws out the depth of the fragrance.
