Producer Boccantino is based in Sicily and is run by a large environmentally conscious wine company called Schenk, which has wineries all over Italy. Nero D'Avola is one of the mos t widely planted varieties in Sicily and is known for its rustic charm, dark fruit profile, good structure, pronounced tannin and fuller body. Tasting Note A bold and compelling Sicilian red with all the Italian charm and rustic nature. It has a dark fruit profile of plums and cherries and undertones of tobacco and vanilla.
