Santos Rene Irizarry This 1967 abstract oil and ink drawing is by Puerto Rican Modernist artist Santos Rene Irizarry (1934-1997). He studied art at the University of Puerto Rico wi th Carlos Marichal, the Galeria Campeche with Domingo Garcia in San Juan and the National School of Plastic Arts Academy of San Carlos in Mexico with Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo and Jose Clemente Orozco. 1967 Oil and Ink on Paper 15.5"x18.75" framed, 8"x11" unframedSigned and dated lower right.
