Producer Steve moved with his family from mainland Australia to Tasmania in 1990 to pursue his dream of producing high-quality Australian Sparkling in the Derwent Valley. He purchased his property, began planting his vineyard, and farming the land to biodynamic principles. Since the beginning, Stefano Lubiana has grown significantly, making world-class sparkling wines, still Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, acquiring a vineyard in Huon Valley, and opening a restaurant called Osteria. Tasting Note "I love the wispy tendrils of struck-match complexity that float out of the glass as you lift it to your nose. They flit above some lovely pure citrus, peach and stone fruit tones that meld with hints of soft spice, nougat, crème fraîche, lemon butter, vanillin oak and river stone.
