Santos Rene Irizarry This mid 20th century abstract ink drawing is by Puerto Rican Modernist artist Santos Rene Irizarry (1934-1997). He studied art at the University of Puerto Ric o with Carlos Marichal, the Galeria Campeche with Domingo Garcia in San Juan and the National School of Plastic Arts Academy of San Carlos in Mexico with Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo and Jose Clemente Orozco.
