Take a photo of the belt routing before removing the old belt. Inspect all idler pulleys and spindle pulleys for rough bearings, wobble, or groove wear before installing the new belt. Make sure the belt is fully seated in every pulley groove before engaging the PTO. After installation, run the deck briefly and recheck belt tracking before mowing.
