The AS365 Dauphin is a modern, medium-sized multi-role helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter Group (now part of Airbus Helicopters). The prototype first flew in 1975, and the aircr aft entered service in 1978. The helicopter – in its AS 365 N3 version – has a fuselage length of 13.73 meters and a rotor diameter of 11.94 meters. It is powered by two Turbomeca Arriel 2C engines, each producing 838 hp. The helicopter has a conventional layout with a single main rotor and a propeller mounted on a Fenestron tail boom. Show more
