Producer A star-studded cast comes together to create this wine: Winemaker Matt Harrop, who is the man behind Silent Way. Mark Walpole is the head viticulturist who produces his label Fighting Gully Road and is regarded as one of Australia's leading viticulturists. Callan Randall is their experienced vineyard manager, keeping things running on the ground. The vineyard is in Heathcote with rich, red Cambrian soils, cool nights, and warm, dry days, the perfect conditions for Rhone varieties like Shiraz, Marsanne, and Roussanne, the team is passionate about making iconic Australian wines while drawing influence from overseas. Tasting Note A beautiful representation of Heathcote Shiraz. It is medium-bodied with flavours of wild berries, dark cherry, licorice, and warm spices that fill the glass. A touch of oak influence comes through nicely, with silky tannins to finish. Perfect with all types of red meat, it would be enjoyed by all Shiraz drinkers, regardless of their preference.
