Where are the units made? Units are assembled in our overseas factory in China. Stocked in our CA warehouse. 2. Does the unit include a water pump? Yes, the unit is fully packaged. It has the pump, water tank, inlet/outlet piping, fans, compressor, evaporator, and condenser all installed. Also comes fully charged with freon. 3. Does the unit come with warranty? Yes, the unit comes with a 1 year factory warranty against any defects. Parts & labor included. Ask for our warranty sheet for more information. 4. What sort of issues can I expect from this unit? With proper installation and maintenance, no major issues. 5. IS THIS UNIT A RIGHT FIT FOR ME? We cannot make that decision for you. We guarantee that our unit performs to advertised specifications, but the end user must decide if the chiller meets their application requirements. For most applications that just need a basic general purpose chiller to cool down process water, our chillers generally work great. Our only requirements are 1. the chiller must be used in a true closed-loop circuit 2. chiller must be placed in a well ventilated area and 3. the water lines must be short enough to get good return flow. 6. I'm running an open loop process, can I still use this chiller? If you have an open loop process, ask us about a tankless conversion. 7. Can I run glycol? Yes, we recommend a 30% glycol-water mix. Ph level must be balanced between 6-8. 7. What is the lead time to purchase and receive a unit? Typically very quick -- if the unit is in stock. We ship within 1-3 business days of payment received.
